As you are aware, COVID—19 continues to impact our communities and way of life. This situation is evolving every hour, and we want to assure you that WeedMD is on top of it. We continue to put in place new measures based on all recent developments to protect the health and safety of our patients, our employees and the communities we serve. Here is a summary of the measures we are currently taking:

Temporary Delivery Procedures

  • Canada Post packages must be picked up from local post office with Notice Card and ID. On Time Delivery Guarantees have been temorarily suspended.
  • Purolator will be releasing packages with verbal consent

We have temporarily moved to telemedicine appointments only. If you require a new medical document, you can conveniently schedule an online consultation with our clinic partner North Star Wellness by calling 1-800-674-8745 or by visiting northstarwellness.ca.

As part of North Star Wellness’s online consultations for medical cannabis, we are also offering additional COVID—19 related health assessments. This includes education and guidance from our Health Care Professionals for those feeling symptoms related to COVID-19.

Self-Monitoring

  • Self-monitor if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or in close contact with those who
  • are vulnerable.
  • Monitor yourself for 14 days for one or more symptoms of COVID-19. Avoid crowded places.

Self-Isolation

  • Self-isolate if you have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days.
  • Stay at home and monitor yourself for symptoms, even if mild, for 14 days. Avoid contact with other people.

Isolation

Symptoms, even if mild

  • Isolate if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are awaiting test results.
  • Stay at home until your Public Health Authority advises you are no longer at risk of spreading the virus.

Potential Symptoms

IF

  • you have a fever (T > 38C), new cough or difficulty breathing...
  • you "have muscle aches, fatigue, headache, sore throat, runny nose or diarrhea...
  • you ”have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days...
  • you name been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 or has similar symptoms...
PLEASE self—isolate at home and contact your local public health unit to decide on most appropriate setting for testing if needed.

We urge everyone to stay at home as much as possible if you are able to do so during this ongoing situation. As the impact of COVID-19 continues to evolve, our response to it will as well. We are implementing and monitoring every possible recommendation from the Ministry of Health and Public Health Agency of Canada to help ensure the safety of our team members while providing continued care and service to our patients.
